ABOUT us
Hi, my name is Gabby Cadolino and I am the current Chapter President of the Theta Zeta Chapter of Alpha Phi at Florida Tech. Coming to this school for the first time as a freshman so far away from home was one of the most intimidating challenges I have ever experienced. With the countless number of clubs and organizations to join, on top of taking college classes for the first time, I didn’t know where to start. I decided to go through recruitment at Florida Tech to see what it was all about, and it was the best decision I've ever made. When I first met the welcoming sisters of Alpha Phi, I knew I had found my home away from home.
Our Chapter at Florida Tech consists of 45 active sisters and together, we strive to uphold Alpha Phi’s values of Sisterhood, Generosity, Innovation, and Character.
We are always there for each other, through thick and thin, no matter the time of day. From receiving a big sister, giving back to the community, attending formals and so many other fun and exciting events, supporting each other through college and beyond, sisters are there to create unforgettable memories. As a chapter, we excel academically and hold the one of the highest GPAs of all organizations at Florida Tech. Our Philanthropy is the Alpha Phi Foundation, which supports and donates to women's heart health. By hosting philanthropy events, like our Red Dress Casino Night and the King of Hearts pageant, together we raise money for research and financial support for those affected by heart disease. Unfortunately, heart disease is the number one killer of women to this day. This resonates close with our sisters, and we hold our philanthropy close to us.
Alpha Phi has helped me gain lifelong friendships and leadership experience beyond what I ever expected. My sisters are my family, and I would do anything for them just as they would for me. This chapter has given me so much from my current internship to connections on campus to my best friends who I know will be there for years to come. We constantly support each other through all college has to offer. I am so proud and thankful to be a part of such an amazing group of women who strive to be the best versions of themselves every single day. Alpha Phi has given me the skills I need to succeed in the future, all while giving me best friends that will last a lifetime.
