Who We Are

Samantha Colliton
president
I'm Sam and I am a junior majoring in Biology. I'm from Massachusetts but immediately fell in love with Melbourne and being a part of Alpha Phi. Alpha Phi has given me so much, from my current internship, my study buddies and group project members, incredible leadership opportunities, connections on campus, and my best friends who I know will be there for me for years to come. I knew after meeting everyone on the first day of recruitment that this chapter would be my home away from home and I'm so incredibly grateful for it. I'm so excited to serve as Chapter President on the 2024-2025 executive board and I can't wait to see what this year brings!

I joined Alpha Phi because I wanted to have a group of girls that I could hang out with to create fun memories. Joining the Theta Zeta Chapter has given me just that and so much more, from leadership opportunities to lifelong friendships. I'm Riley and I'm a sophomore studying Aerospace Engineering! I'm from Colorado Springs, Colorado, but immediately fell in love with Florida and being a part of Alpha Phi. I joined Alpha Phi to better my relationship with girls on campus that have the same goals as me. I love Alpha Phi because it is a place I can truly be myself! There is never a moment I don’t feel included and loved by my sisters!!

I was initiated into the Theta Zeta chapter of Alpha Phi in Fall of 2013 when I was in my first year of college at Florida Tech. Joining Alpha Phi quickly became one of the best decisions of my college career. I considered myself lucky to have a found a wonderful group of woman who shared similar goals and values to my own. After graduating, I was fortunate enough to be offered a position on the Alpha Phi advisory board. Eventually, this resulted in me transitioning into the role of Chapter Advisor. Working with the wonderful collegians of Theta Zeta as an advisor has been such an enriching, wonderful experience. I enjoy the role I play in helping these girls prepare for their futures and overall working together to make Alpha Phi the best it can be. The Alpha Phi chapter of Florida Tech is an amazing group of outstanding women who are constantly striving to better themselves and one another, and I am truly proud to be numbered among them.
